The first time I took it, I got a good score on all the sections except science. I got a 24 and it kept my composite down. I hate how they tag it on at the end when everyone is exhausted from testing. After my first experience, I went home got a book and studied the science section and became more comfortbale with the material. I also tried to relax more the second time around and calmed my nerves. I finally got a 30 on the section.

Best advice: DO NOT READ THE ABSTRACT. Go straight to the questions. Most of the questions just require you to look at the graphs anyways. When you've finished all these "can you read a graph?" questions, THEN go back and do the other questions.

I basically just plowed through the Science section because I was tired and upset because I knew my ACT Math Grade was going to be bad. Here are the scores I got:

English - 30
Reading - 34
Science - 28
Math - 23
Essay - 10
Composite - 29

I would also suggest to go straight to the questions and look for just the answers, it definitely saves me time.
